Rating
I love this item. I keep it plugged in next to the bed, so I don't really use the battery too much, but I agree that it's a problem with the monitor. (The only problem, I would say.) My battery only lasts 30-45 minutes if the unit is unplugged.

That aside, I love this monitor. I can see whether or not it's worth going upstairs when my daughter makes noise and when she wakes up in the morning or from naptime, I can start soothing music from my receiver to her transmitter. It definitely helps ease the wake-up period.

Rating
My wife and I are constantly up and down stairs in our townhouse and have found that the reception on this system has shown no signs of degradation even with two floors separating us and the baby. The remote functionality of this model is one of the best parts which has saved us on those additional trips to comfort the baby by activating any of the numerous sounds that are available with this model. This is a great product that I would recommend to anyone looking for a quality baby monitor.

I love this product. I bought the product after a friend recommended it AND told us that it doesn't hold any battery life. Knowing that the battery does not last was part of my expectations, so I love it.

Rating
I purchased this model just as it came out. The thing that comforted me most was that it used a transmission frequency/channel not used by the other major monitor manufacturers. After reading a lot of other reviews about seeing babies of neighbors... I definately wanted something different. We've been using this for 6 months now, and I have to say the picture and audio quality is amazing - especially the night vision. It also allows you to pick a few songs to play if you want remotely or on the montior unit and has a decent nightlight. So why 3 stars? The battery life is horrid. Horrid, horrid, horrid. You might as well pretend it's not wireless at all. When we first bought it, we were able to use it about 40 minutes. After that first time, it literally lasted 10 minutes less each time we charged it back up... so after about 4 uses, we get our typical 5 minutes of wireless use. Thank goodness we use it plugged in.

If you can live with a "wired" baby monitor, I think it's be hard to beat the features, image quality, and audio quality of this product.

Great product, but the portable unit has a very low battery life when disconnected. Can not keep it off the base for more than a half hour. Other than that...very happy with it.

I love this product even though there was no feedback from. The set up was easy right out the box. The pictures and sound quality was crystal clear.Night vision mode is black and white, but during the day is in full color. It was a good purchase from CD warehouse....cheaper than anyone else out there.

I would love to give it a five star, but the battery life is very poor. It last only about 2hrs. Still good , but do not forget to plug in.
